Child Care Wayfinder

Collene Jacobson is our Startup and Retention Specialist, as part of the new Wayfinder Program happening across the state. Collene will be working with new providers and current providers in an effort to start, expand and maintain great childcare programs in Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift and Yellow Medicine Counties. Collene will have all the information you need regarding grants, food assistance programs, scholarship programs, and so much more! Child Care Aware of Minnesota is a statewide network of agencies, funded by
Minnesota Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) that assists families in finding quality child care and supports the development and growth of current and new child care programs. Prairie Five’s Child Care Aware program serves Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift and Yellow Medicine counties.
